Make it Happen Monday
Our weekly partner spotlight. This week we take a look at Justice for Children Trust, JCT, in Harare, Zimbabwe.
JCT is making it happen by providing free legal services to minors, teaching children about their rights before abuse occurs, and protecting children's rights in Zimbabwe.
JCT was established in 2002 by a group of lawyers who wanted to provide individual children with legal assistance. JCT educates the public on children’s rights and legal issues as well as advocates for legal and policy reform to better protect children. The core of their work has expanded and now includes programs to help stop abuse before a child enters a courtroom. JCT empowers children and teaches them their legal rights and the tools necessary to act on those rights. Partner Snapshot…
