A Globally Minded Mayor

A shout out from the Mayor feels pretty good!  Especially when it’s from a Mayor as globally and locally conscious as Mayor Ryan Coonerty. Santa Cruz Mayor Ryan Coonerty has been a great friend to Firelight Foundation.  When we asked him to endorse the International Girl Effect Week this year he moved quickly telling us, "I am happy to support the incredible Firelight Foundation as they seek to improve the conditions and opportunities for girls around the world. I hope that proclaiming Girl Effect Week will bring attention to this crucial issue."
