Learning and Evaluation Associate

As Learning and Evaluation Associate, Kevin works closely with Firelight’s Program and Learning Team and CBO grantee-partners. He supports the development and implementation of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning frameworks; managing and executing Firelight’s Learning and Evaluation Communications Strategy.

Kevin is a Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning practitioner with experience in developing and implementing MEL frameworks for humanitarian, development and research programs. His experience spans various technical sectors that include education, youth empowerment, health, media among others.

Prior to joining Firelight, Kevin was the Consortium Monitoring and Evaluation Lead for the UKAID funded Girls’ Education Challenge Program, iMlango at Avanti Communications. The private sector-led project aimed to improve learning outcomes, enrollment/attendance and transition to the next stage of education for girls in 245 schools in marginalized communities in Kenya through the innovative use of technology. Prior to that, Kevin worked as a Data Analyst/Researcher at Standard Group Plc.

Kevin holds a Master of Science in Monitoring and Evaluation and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
