Jim Laske

Grants Manager

As Grants Officer, Jim Laske works closely with Firelight’s Program and Learning Team to provide technical and administrative oversight of Firelight’s grantmaking systems and processes. In addition to providing oversight, he assess areas where our grant systems and processes can be strengthened to better meet the needs of our team and grantee-partners.

Jim grew up in Akron, OH, but has happily called the Central Coast of California home since 2011. Jim joined Firelight in 2014. He earned a B.S. in Business Economics from Miami University, an M.A. in International Affairs from Ohio University with a focus on community-based development in WASH, and served as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in the Kingdom of Tonga.
