Beverly Nicole Adhiambo

Program Assistant

As Program Assistant, Beverly supports Firelight’s Child and Youth Rights, Care and Protection Initiatives in eastern and southern Africa.

Beverly is a Mandela Washington Fellow, and a community development specialist with over 5 years’ experience in rural development, livelihoods, community organizing, gender issues, and youth and women empowerment in East Africa. She has knowledge and skills in resource mobilization, stakeholder engagement and partnerships, project management, community engagement, and advocacy.

Prior to joining Firelight, Beverly served as Program Officer with Educate!, working to equip out-of-school youth with entrepreneurial skills and managing high-level engagement with stakeholders in Homabay County, Kenya.

Beverly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Community Development from Moi University and she is currently pursuing a Master of Arts Sociology at the same university.
