
Firelight staff share information with our active grantee-partners via weekly "Newsflash" emails. These bulletins include information on relevant resources, publications, funding opportunities, donor profiles, upcoming events and conferences, tips and tools to enhance programming, and news of grantees’ achievements.
Firelight is committed to providing access to important information to community organizations, especially those working in isolated rural areas. We have received well over 200 unsolicited commendations from our grantee-partners about the usefulness and pertinence of the information in the Newsflashes. Grantees tell us that the Newsflash demonstrates Firelight’s commitment to enhancing their work on behalf of children, families and communities.
If you work within a local organization based in Africa and are interested in receiving the Firelight Newsflash via email, simply send us an email at newsletter@firelightfoundation.org with "Newsflash request" on the subject line. Kindly include your name, email address, country, organizational affiliation (if any), and a sentence or two about your interest.
Please note that we do not extend the distribution of the Firelight Newsflash to individuals and organizations from the developed world. If you work with local counterparts, organizations, or other local partners based in Africa who could could benefit from receiving the Newsflash, please encourage them to contact us.
